source: (AFP)BOSTON, Massachusetts — New York Knicks guard Chauncey Billups was listed as "very questionable" by coach Mike D'Antoni on Monday for Tuesday's NBA playoff game at Boston due to a left leg injury.
The Knicks, who lost 87-85 at Boston in Sunday's opener of the best-of-seven Eastern Conference playoff series, would be without their starting point guard if Billups indeed is unable to play.
Billups, who came over with Carmelo Anthony from Denver in a blockbuster February trade, was injured in the final seconds of Sunday's game with what was diagnosed as a strained left knee or thigh muscle.
Toney Douglas would likely move into the starting lineup if Billups is unable to play.
