MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao's high-altitude training in Baguio City finished quite well, as far as trainer Freddie Roach is concerned.

Roach, who arrived in Los Angeles, US over the weekend with the boxing superstar, told ABS-CBN News about his satisfaction over their recent routine in the City if Pines.

"We had none, we had no distractions. Nothing but work," the renowned trainer said.

Pacquiao is in the US to prepare for his fight against "Sugar" Shane Mosley, which will be held May 7.

The Filipino boxer will be defending his World Boxing Organization welterweight title against his American foe at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He is due to start the next phase of his training at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood.

Pacquiao alighted at the Los Angeles International Airport last weekend and avoided hundreds of fans and the press by sneaking out through a backdoor.

Among the journalists he evaded were the crew from CBS's Showtime.

Showtime, which premiered last Saturday (Sunday, in Manila), follows Pacquiao's personal and professional life in a documentary series called “Fight Camp 360°.” – Report from Steve Angeles, ABS-CBN News, Los Angeles
