After the Pacquiao-Mosley fight which will happen this May 7, another fight is to be scheduled for Pacquiao in October.

Richard Schaefer, Golden Boy Production’s CEO, told the press that Top Rank Promotions sent a formal invitation to them on the course of having the third fight between the two boxing superstars for Pacquiao’s WBO welterweight title.

According to him, they still have the rights to accept any invitation given to Juan Manuel Marquez until February of the next year.

This fight is being pushed through in an effort to have another match that is rightful to be called the Match of the Century. If we look back at the previous fight between the two, the first fight last 2004 was indeed a fantastic fight resulting to a draw. The second match was a tight match wherein Pacquiao was pronounced the winner with a close split decision.

This fight will excite a lot of boxing fanatics if this match is confirmed.

Currently Pacquiao is in training and is preparing for his fight against Mosley while Marquez is about to fight with Zab Judah this coming July.
