MANILA, Philippines - If given the chance, American pop rock band "Maroon 5" is willing to do a collaboration with Filipino artists like Journey's Arnel Pineda, The Black Eyed Peas' Allan Pineda, Charice and boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

Group members Adam Levine (vocals), Jesse Carmichael (keyboards), Mickey Madden (bass guitar), James Valentine (lead guitar) and Matt Flynn (drums) were all excited when asked about the possibility of working with Filipino singers especially with Pacquiao.

"Of course we'd like to collaborate with Pacquiao. That would be amazing," Levine said.

"We are gonna write a song for him. No one says no to Manny," the lead vocalist added.

As to other Pinoy artists, Flynn said that they see nothing wrong if they would work with them.

"One of the artists you mention, the Black Eyed Peas, we know Black Eyed Peas so it's yes," Flynn said.
Maroon 5 arrived in Manila Sunday night for their one-night concert at SMX Convention Center, Monday night (May 23).

Maroon 5's keyboardist Jesse Carmichael even shared his excitement to be in Manila via his official Twitter page.

"Hmmm... What do I wanna use my last tweet before I hit 1000 to say? We're here in Manilla. It's nice. [Manila] Nice...." Carmichael tweeted.

The band held their last concert in the Philippines at Araneta Coliseum last March 5, 2008.

Maroon 5 is expected to wow their Filipino audience again with their hits like "Harder to Breathe," "This Love," "She Will Be Loved," and "Sunday Morning."
