MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxer Rodel Mayol dominated Javier Gallo in the 10-round undercard bout of the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley fight card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Saturday (Sunday in Manila).
According to Philboxing.com, Mayol defeated his Mexican foe by majority decision, 98-92, 98-92 and 95-95.
Mayol, former World Boxing Council (WBC) junior flyweight champ, improved his record to 28-5-2 with 21 knockouts (KO).
Gallo, on the other hand, fell to a 17-4-1 slate.
