WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is backing Manny Pacquiao to become the first boxer to knock Shane Mosley out. Pacquiao and Khan are both trained by Fredde Roach, and both of them are currently training in Baguio City for their upcoming fights.

Pacquiao faces Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Khan takes on Paul McCloskey in Manchester on April 16.

Khan credits Mosley for his power, but he doesn't believe the former three division champion will be capable of withstanding Pacquiao's pressure, and power, for twelve high-paced rounds.

“That guy Mosley can punch,” said Khan to ABS-CBN News.

“He’s got hand-speed. I don’t know about his legs. When Manny puts on the pressure, I’m not sure if Mosley will know where to go.

I honestly don’t know if Mosley can take Manny’s power. I think Manny could be the first fighter to knock out Mosley.”
