LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Until now, WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire still not seeing and talking with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum since his contract signing with Golden Boy Promotions was revoked.
Because of this, his fight was completely cancelled which was set by Top Rank on May 27 against an unnamed opponent.
According to Arum, they themselves were striving to talk to Donaire but it seems he avoids speaking with them.
Donaire was seen at the ringside of the Eric Morales-Marcos Maidana WBA junior-welterweight title fight at MGM Grand, Las Vegas last Sunday and was taking photographs.
Donaire's wife Rachel posted on her Facebook account that they will be in "lay low" until their contract problem is not yet resolved.
